Where can I shop online? Any indian website or stores?

Practically any store based in India ! Since you now have an Indian address when you register with us, you can order from amazon india, instagram or facebook shops, myntra and many more

What is the mode of your shipment?

Right now, we only send parcels via air. We are focused on smaller delivery sizes (below 30kg) with quicker turnaround.

Will I be charged in MYR, SGD or INR

You will be charged according to your destination address currency. If the shipment is to Malaysia, you will be charged in MYR. If it is to Singapore, you will be charged in SGD. There is no cheaper alternatives between both currencies.

Do you provide pick up service from a location in India to ShipIndia warehouse in india?

We currently offer pickup services exclusively for bulk orders. For more details on arranging a pickup for your bulk order or to discuss your specific needs, please contact us via WhatsApp.

How long does it take to ship from India to Singapore or Malaysia?

Typically, it takes 7- 10 business days to your doorstep. This is from the time you have made the payment for shipping and our shipping team have processed it for shipment.

How much does it cost to ship from India to Singapore or Malaysia?

Shipping costs vary based on the package size, weight, and destination. You can calculate the estimated shipping cost on our website here calculation before ordering your shipment. Do note the charges exclude tax and insurance as it is based on your declared amount.

What is personal shopper

Personal shopper is a service provided by ShipIndia for free where you can send us the link and details of items you wish to purchase from any indian site. It does not have to be from the same site. You can paste the links and send to us. Our team will prepare an invoice for you to make payment for the items. Once paid, we will process the ordering on your behalf and ship it to our warehouse. After which you will be notified to make your shipping payment directly with us. It is like having a friend in India to shop for you!

Is there is any additional charge for personal shopper?

No. Right now we are providing it as a free service. You pay for your items and shipping only

How does the free storage work? E.g If I order 2 items, one item is received at shipIndia warehouse on day 1 and the other is on day 30.

you will be charged for 1 day of your first item because it has exceeded a day from the 30th day. Your bill will include 1 day of warehouse charge.

How much is the storage per day if I haven’t check out after 30 days?

You will be charged a nominal fee of 1 SGD / 3 MYR per item per day of storage after the 30th day

Is insurance compulsory and is it included in the shipping charges?

No. Shipping insurance is not compulsory and not included in the shipping charges.

How is my insurance charges calculated?

Your insurance is calculated based on the value of your items you purchase. We have no access to your invoices. So you can enter a number more than $0. Your insurance will cost you 2% of your value. If your total value of your package is 100 SGD or 100 MYR, your insurance will be 2 SGD or 2 MYR respectively

What are the payment methods available for this service?

Do you do sea freight?

What is actual weight and volumetric weight and billable weight? How will i be charged?

Actual weight refers to the real weight of a shipment as measured on a scale. It's the gross weight of the goods including packaging, and is typically measured in kilogram. Volumetric weight, also known as dimensional weight, is a calculated weight that considers the dimensions of a package. It's used to account for the space a package occupies in a vehicle or container. Billable weight is the weight used to calculate the shipping charge. The larger of the two weights is typically used as the billable weight and that is what you will be charged

How do I consolidate my packages from different online stores in India?

We will help you consolidate all your parcels when it arrives in our warehouse. You can shop from any Indian e-commerce sites, IG accounts, FB accounts and set the delivery address assigned to you. We will take it from there by keeping you updated about your shipments.

Will I be informed when my package reaches Shipindia warehouse?

Yes, we will notify you when your package arrives at our warehouse. You may also book under 'expected deliveries' to inform us of the shipment before it arrives at our warehouse. This way you can let us know in advance to anticipate for your parcel delivery. We will still notify you even if you do not pre-book it. Ensure that in your delivery address, you have added your unique customer id so we can identify your parcel.

How long I can store my items in ShipIndia warehouse?

You can store it for up to 30 days free in our warehouse. You will be charged a nominal fee after the 30th day per item.

How can I contact customer service if I have any issues or queries?

How do I cancel or modify my shipping request?

Right now, we do not provide services such as refund / returning / exchanging items with the stores as we are only the shipment provider and not directly linked to any store.

How safe is my shipment?

There are two ways you can track your package. 1)Log in to your Shipindia account on the website to track the status of your package. 2) Use our whatsapp chatbot <https://wa.me/6594454869> to check on the status of your package within whatsapp itself

What happens if my goods are damaged?

We ensure your goods are safe throughout the shipment process. In the event where your goods are damaged, please contact us immediately via support and we will assist you in the claims process. Please note that this is also dependent on the value you declare your items. We will conduct an investigation on the damaged item and begin the compensation process after.

Regulations

How does the customs process work?

Sending your parcels in and out of a country requires customs paperwork and procedures. We will process your shipments, declare its weight, contents and value from India to your destination country. You do not have to pay for any additional charges. Sit back while we handle this part of the shipment for you.

How much tax will I incur for my shipments?

The tax percentage is 18% of your declared value of your item. You can declare the value of your item on your own.

What are the prohibited items that I cannot ship from India to Singapore & Malaysia ?
